A Day of Remembrance

Today NPSS students, staff and community members participated in the Remembrance Day ceremony. Army Cadets Jacob Barley and Tyler Kitt presided over the event. Student Council president Kobe Tulloch led the ceremony, and Mr. Dempsey and Ms. Cullen each shared family stories. The leadership and student council students read ‘In Flanders Fields’, Elysia Cruz sang ‘Imagine’ and the SD60 Band played an original arrangement of ‘O Canada’, ‘Taps’, ‘Where Mountains Touch the Sky’, and ‘Vortex’. Thank you to all the participants for making this a respectful, memorable event. Have a restful weekend. Classes will resume on Tuesday, November 13.
