No Classes – Assessment Day

April 27 - 8:41am to 3:18pm

The Ministry of Education has released an update on Graduation Assessments. Previously scheduled sessions in April and June will go ahead as planned; however, the LTF12 (l’Évaluation de littératie de la 12e année – Français langue seconde – immersion) assessment has been cancelled for the 2021/22 school year. We will send specific information regarding the LTF12 assessment directly to parents and students in Grade 12 French Immersion.

To accommodate the number of students who need to write the Grade 12 Literacy Assessment, we will be holding an Assessment Day Wednesday, April 27, 2022; All classes will be cancelled. A schedule will be shared with students detailing when they need to attend on Assessment Day through their Learn60 email account. Only students scheduled to write need to be on campus that day.

It is essential that students do not miss their assessment date.

For the Grade 10 Literacy and Numeracy Assessments, we will use long blocks on April 25th and 26th to allow sufficient writing time. Students currently enrolled in Composition 10 and in either stream of Math 10 will be scheduled to write one or both assessments, depending on their schedule. Students who have already written their assessments will not need to write again unless they request a re-write through Student Services. Grade 12 students who have not written the Grade 10 Literacy or Numeracy assessments will be scheduled to write on April 27th.

The full assessment schedule will be posted on our school website: https://bit.ly/31mxW3v. On our website, you can also find more information about the BC Graduation Assessments, links to practice assessments for Grade 10 and 12 students, and directions on how students can access their scores.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Student Services or Administration.
