Each year the Senior Alt students of North Peace Secondary brainstorm and pitch humanitarian projects to each other.
The Junior boys had their second test of the season this weekend in Tumbler Ridge. The Grizzlies started the tournament strong, with a 95-28 win over the Tumbler Ridge Kodiaks and 104-23 win over the Dawson Creek 9s.
There are a couple of spots available in the Trades Sampler program through Dual Credit for next semester at NLC.

Our Senior Girls Volleyball team was in Vancouver last week competing at the AAAA Provincial Championships. The Grizzlies started off with tough pool play matches against Claremont (#10 , Kelowna (#1) and Seaquam (#11). As this was the first time at Provincials for a majority of the team,
It’s Grizzly Season: Our senior boys soccer team had a great showing this past weekend at the AAA Provincial Championships in Vancouver. The boys finished 15th with a record of 1-1-3. Our senior girls volleyball team is off to Provincials on Wednesday.
There is an alternate bell schedule for Wednesday, November 27 and Thursday, November 28. The early dismissal days are to accommodate the parent-teacher interviews happening on these afternoons. If you would like to meet with teachers on these days,
The Junior Girls volleyball team is set to play the Senior Girls at 5:30PM on Wednesday. This will be the Junior Girls last game of the season. Come out and support the teams!
Basketball season is just about underway with tryouts starting up on Tuesday this week.
The NPSS student council organized the Remembrance Day ceremony at NPSS this year. The Cadets, NPSS band, Choice Choir, and guests retired corporal Tracy Tompkins and RCMP Constable Cullen all participated in the ceremony.Â
