The Junior Girls volleyball team is set to play the Senior Girls at 5:30PM on Wednesday. This will be the Junior Girls last game of the season. Come out and support the teams!

Basketball season is just about underway with tryouts starting up on Tuesday this week.

The NPSS student council organized the Remembrance Day ceremony at NPSS this year. The Cadets, NPSS band, Choice Choir, and guests retired corporal Tracy Tompkins and RCMP Constable Cullen all participated in the ceremony.

The Junior Girls Volleyball team competed at home over the weekend in the Peace River Regional tournament. Hosted at North Peace, the girls got a rare opportunity to play in front of a home crowd. The Grizzlies started off strong with a solid win over Dr Kearney,

Ms. Paakkonen’s Grade 10 class has been cooking up a storm! Last week they learned how to make homemade pasta, and yesterday they baked cakes.

The Grade 10 Graduation Numeracy Assessment (GNA 10) is a provincial assessment that assesses student proficiency in numeracy. It is a graduation requirement that students will take in their Grade 10 year. For more details about GNA 10,

NPSS students in  Mr. Boyd’s Chemistry 12 experiment with solubility, while Ms. Lynn’s Anatomy and Physiology 12 students investigate the rate of enzyme-catalyzed reactions in a self-directed lab.

It was a tough weekend for our Senior Grizzlies: after a long and anxious bus ride to Grande Prairie, with a stop at the Alberta border because of snow, both teams got off the bus and stepped right onto the court to start their pool play at GP Comp.

It was a busy weekend for Grizzlies Athletics: all three volleyball teams were in Dawson Creek and the Cross Country team competed at the Zone Championships. 

Jordynn McPherson (Grade 12), Tristan Hynes (Grade 12), Carter Collins (Grade 11) and Kane Schreiner (Grade 10) represented North Peace at the NCD Zone Championships at Bear Mountain in Dawson Creek.

The Senior Volleyball teams were in Whitecourt over the weekend competing in the A&W Tournament hosted by Hilltop High School and St. Joes. 

The Senior Girls started off pretty shaky against a strong Glenmary team.
